PMGDISHA State Level Workshop conducted in Telangana


The first State Level PMGDISHA workshop for all State and District Level Committee members was held on 13th Oct 2017 in Hyderabad.

Sri, JayeshRanjan, IAS, Principal SecretarySri G. Kishan, IAS Director of School Education, Smt. PausumiBasu, IAS, CEO - Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Sri.GT. Venkateshwar Rao, IRS, Commissioner - ESD,Smt.V. Nirmala,Jt Secretary - Women and Child Development, Sri.Vidyasagar reddy, MD-Sthreenidhi, Sri. Srinivas PendyalaJt Secretary (e-Gov) Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Dept, Sri. Shailesh Reddy, CEO - SoFTNETand Sri. Rammohan Rao,SIO-NIC were present on the occasion.

Around 250 participants including members of 30 District and State Level Committees, District Coordinators, e District managers, ITE & C dept team and CSC Team attended the workshop.

A Booklet, Poster and Film on PMGDISHA were launched during the event and top 10 performing VLE’s were awarded with certificate of appreciation. Value Labs donated 50 laptops to TITA to set up training centers and provide training under CSR initiative.

CSC team members explained the PMGDISHA scheme, beneficiary registration, training and examination processes in detail. The role of each department was also explained in detail, all the doubts of committee members were cleared during the session.

Director of School Education Sri G. Kishan explained the importance of Digital Literacy for schools students and assured that their schools will provide infrastructure for training in rural areas.

Smt. Pausumi Basu speaking at the workshop she explained the need of Digital Literacy for Women in rural areas and how it is useful for SHG women.

Sri, Jayesh Ranjan delivered his keynote address at the workshop and said Digital Telangana stands on two pivots; each of them representing the supply and the demand side. On the supply side, the main aim is to ensure that digital facilities become available to each and every person in the state.

Similarly, on the demand side, the intention is to make each and every person digitally empowered so that he/she can make best use of the digital facilities that are being made available right at his/her doorstep.He said that this scheme will empower citizens with the Digital Literacy. He urged the State and District Level committee members to participate actively in order to take Digital Literacy in every Panchayat of Telangana state and to make it a success. He also interacted with beneficiaries through Skype from Chamanpally village PMGDISHA Center






Jagtial:
PMGDISHA training started in Ramajipet village and conducted awareness programme on the 1st day by District Coordinator.



Training Workshop conducted for VLEs of Jagtial and training given on PMGDISHA and CSC Services.







Khammam:



VLE Mahendar providing Digital Literacy training to villagers of Mucharla in Khammam dist. Around 250 beneficiaries certified from his centre.



Peddapalli
PMGDISHA Awareness creation and registration drive conducted in Peedapur Village,Julapalli Mandal. Camps conducted till late evening to meet the farmers and farm labours.









Karimnagar
PmgdishaTraining center inaugurated by village Sarpanch in Jangapally village, Ganneruvarammandal.



Training workshop conducted by district VLEs under PMGDISHA. Around 100 VLEs attended the workshop and they have been trained on  the process of Student registration, Training, Exam and cashless transactions.
