On the occasion of 18th Anniversary of Jharkhand establishment day (15th November 2017), the Chief Guest, Honourable president of India, Sh. Ramnath Kovind awarded PMGDISHA beneficiary, Sh. Gulshan Lohar with a certificate and laptop at Morabadi Ground in Ranchi.

Gulshan Lohar from Manoharpur block of West Singhbhum district in Jharkhand is physically handicapped. Born with no hands, but a strong will power, he learnt to operate computers with his feet. He was registered by the VLE (Ms. Babita Devi) of Manoharpur under PMGDISHA scheme using mobile OTP. Gulshan was trained through the audio visual modules and appeared for the examination after authentication through IRIS device. He has successfully cleared the examination and now wants to learn more in the field of IT .
