While considering digital literacy and its importance, the company takes into account the digital divide which exists presently. Intel is concentrating its efforts in teaching basic computer literacy to enhance social and economic self-sufficiency. The company believes that reducing this digital divide has an important multiplier effect as it expands opportunities for families, communities and nations.
