Awareness workshops on Digital India initiatives held
Institute of Home Economics
The Digital India workshop at Institute of Home Economics was held on 6th September and was attended by 120 students.

The sessions were taken up by Subodh Mishra, Bhagwati Jamnal, Manmeet Kaur from CSC e Governance Services India limited. All the guest speakers and students were welcomed by the organisers. Shri. Subodh Mishra spoke about Digital India and delivery of G2C services through Common Service Centers (CSCs). He also informed the students about Role of CSC and VLE in achieving vision of Digital India. A movie on our CSC VLEs named “Bharat ko Badalne waale” was also screened for the students. Ms. Bhagwati Jamnal informed students about the various services of CSC and how students can be a part of this “Digital India Initiative”.

Ms. Manmeet Kaur educated the students about “Sarkari Pariksha” an online service which helps students in preparing Govt Entrance exams


Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies
The workshop at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies was held on 7th September and was attended by approximately 100 students. Ms Bhagwati Jamnal and Ms Manmeet Kaur addressed the students on various topics like digital India, e-Kranti, DBT (Digital Doctor, Digital Banker and Digital Teacher), PMGDISHA, Financial Literacy and Tele Law. The students were also informed about the career opportunities in Government Sector and methods to prepare for entrance examination. The Session ended with Question Answer session where students shown interest in Social Evaluation of PMGDISHA


College of Vocational Studies
College of Vocational Studies held the Digital India Initiative session on 11th September. The programme started with the college administration welcoming all the speakers. Ms.Bhagwati spoke about Digital India and initiatives taken by govt of India in order to implement the various schemes. She also educated the gathering on PMGDISHA, Financial Literacy, Legal Literacy, Tele Law, Tele Medicine. Mr. Omveer informed the students about the entrepreneurship program, which is being initiated by SIDBI. He also informed students about Mudra Loan and how they can execute their entrepreneurship Idea into reality.
