Hon’ble Minister for IT and PR, Government of Andhra Pradesh inaugurated PMGDISHA training centre during an event held at Tadimalla panchayat in West Godavari.
He enquired about the implementation process of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan in the state in general and in the district in specific.
The minister appreciated the efforts of CSC SPV team across the state in implementing the PMGDISHA project during the inauguration. Addressing the assemblage, he explained about the importance of Digital Literacy programme and how the citizens collectively make Digital India vision happen across the state.

Aiming to make denizens aware of digital tools and devices, a new computer training centre has been inaugurated at Pasivedala gram panchayat. The centre will impart digital literacy to the villagers under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan.
West Godavari District Collector Shri Katamaneni Bhaskar IAS inaugurated the centre during an event held here this month. He pointed that it is high time that villagers need to be aware of technology and devices to prosper.
“Digital literacy is one thing which we lag in the rural areas of India. However, schemes like PMGDISHA will enable the rural population to know about the digital world,” said the secretary following the inauguration.
He also said that the course will enable the citizens to carry out cashless transactionswhich is part of the learning modules. Apart from DRDA PD K Srinivas and villagers in a huge count, CSC SPV District team attended the event.
Hon’ble Excise Minister Shri. K Samuel Jawahar Garu inaugurated PMGDISHA Centre during an event held at Gowripalli gram panchayath of West Godavari District. He appreciated the Efforts of CSC SPV District team in implementing the PMGDISHA Project in the district.
Further, Addressed the Gathering and explained about the importance of the Digital literacy program and each and how each and every one of us can make the Digital India dream come true.
