Ganjam: It is not just his stint as Indian Defence personnel but even as a VLE, Tutu Rauta has been serving the nation in different ways. Motivated by the vision of PMGDISHA, Tutu Rauta started implementing digital literacy programme in gram panchayats of Ganjam district in Odisha. Mr. Rauta, who is also an ex-serviceman, is proud of his service through PMGDISHA.

He recalls training a student Sanjukta Nayak, who is a 53-year-old Anganwadi worker.

According to the VLE, she was totally unaware of the internet, digital devices and its operations. After completing the training programme, she has started using the internet services effectively. She is also eager to learn computer hardware.

Around 220 students have passed out from Mr. Rauta’s training centre
