The life of housewives from Yerrabalem village in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh just revolved around their house and daily chores. However, introduction to Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan has transformed their lives.

These homemakers started reviving their other flair with the help of digital devices and internet services. VLE Guthikonda V Naga Siresh introduced them to the digital devices including, computers and smartphones.

The homemakers have started using digital payment gateways to make the bill payments and other transactions. The VLE has registered more than 130 students and 67 candidates have completed their examinations .
