One day workshop on PMGDISHA was held on 15th March, 2018 in meeting hall at DC office complex, Pulwama . The workshop was organized by CSC Governance India Ltd under the Ministry of Information Technology Govt. of India. Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar was the chief Guest on the occasion. Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, DPO, ACD, CMO, Principal Govt Degree College Pulwama, District Social Welfare Officer, CSC SPV representatives and other officials and VLES from the District were present on the occasion.
DDC on the occasion welcomed and thanked the CSC officials and their team for organizing such an interactive workshop in the District. He said that in this computer era, all of us are dependent on computers directly or indirectly .Today computers are used in every field like business, health, education, engineering, banking as they help us ease our daily routine, so all of us need to be computer literates .He said that the services provided by the organization at the block level in the form of CSC will be beneficial and fruitful for the general public.
DDC also advised all officials of district administration to take benefit of such programs and introduce it into concerned offices .The thrust on computer literacy is need of the hour particularly in a district which needs further literacy rate in general traditional education map.
While addressing the workshop Khawaja Renzushah advised CSC & VLES operating in all village panchayats, blocks and wards of area to provide all kinds of assistance digitally to people at the grass root level. He said the computer literacy through PMGDISHA will help the authorized certificate holders to find most respectable place among computer literate Fraternity of society.
Certificates were distributed later to the beneficiaries with disability who have completed their computer literacy programme through CSCs.
